OGK's Golden doodle/Golden Retriever Health Guarantee & Contract:
Your puppy will be sold to you in good health and have had an immunization at 6 & 8 weeks of age. The puppy will be given a de-wormer at 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age. Buyer has 3 (three) days to take the puppy to a licensed Veterinarian for a complete examination. If the puppy is found to be in poor health the buyer has the right to return the puppy, at the buyers cost, for a complete refund. Buyer will provide a signed, written statement from a licensed veterinarian stating the illness or congenital defect. If puppy has not been taken to a licensed veterinarian within the 3 days, this health guarantee is null and void.
Seller provides this guarantee for 1 year after the date of the sale against any debilitating congenital defects. (WE WILL EXTEND THE HEALTH GUARANTEE TO TWO YEARS IF YOU GIVE YOUR PUPPY NUVET VITAMINS FOR THE 1ST TWO YEARS) If said Puppy shows signs of a suspected debilitating congenital defect, the buyer must provide all requested veterinary records to the seller within 7 days of diagnosis. The seller reserves the right to require a second opinion at sellers expense. If the puppy has been euthanized or in any other way disposed of, without a second opinion this health guarantee will be null and void and buyer waives the right to a replacement puppy.
This health guarantee does not include worms, viral illnesses, infections, bites, hernias, hypoglycemia, Guardia, Coccidiosis, or any illness due to ingestion of foreign objects, chemicals, allergies to foods, or caused by physical injury.
If a veterinarian has determined that the puppy has a genetic defect that is identified within the 12 month from purchase, the buyer has the option of a replacement puppy from the next available litter. Your puppy would not need to be returned provided that proper documentation has been supplied to the seller. No other fees will be refunded and if a replacement puppy has to be shipped, the buyer is responsible for all shipping fees.
If the puppy should die from a suspected congenital defect within the 12 month guarantee, an autopsy must be performed at the buyers expense by a licensed veterinarian. If the autopsy shows a congenital defect as the reason for the death of the puppy the seller will provide another puppy of equal value to the buyer. Documentation from the veterinarian must be provided. This health guarantee is void if in the event of an inconclusive diagnosis.
The puppy will only be sold if healthy and of a sound temperament no earlier than 8 weeks of age. The pup will have already received all the necessary de-worming's and inoculation's up to the date of delivery to buyer. A record of dates and types will be provided to the buyer at the time of pick-up.
No warranties or guarantees expressed or implied are made under this contract except as stated. This warranty is not transferrable.
If the buyer ever sells or gives away the puppy, the breeder/seller is in NO way obligated or responsible for any of the conditions in this contract.
Buyer agrees to :
Give the puppy a loving and well cared for home. If it should become necessary for you/the buyer to surrender the puppy, under no circumstances is the pup to be placed in a Rescue Organization or Humane Society. If the above circumstances are necessary, the pup shall be returned to the breeder/seller with no cash refund at said time.
If for any reason this contractual agreement should be taken to a court of law, the buyer agrees to proceed in the county that the breeder/seller resides. Buyer also agrees to pay for any and all court costs and attorney fees as said time.
It is understood that this agreement is to protect the integrity and health of the puppy. In no way shall this agreement be altered by buyer, breeder/seller.

* This contract will be signed and mailed to new puppy owner along with a copy to be signed and mailed back to me. If I do not receive the contract back and signed within 14 days, the contract becomes void and of no value. If you are picking up your puppy, you will be given a copy and asked to sign a copy for my records.
